NURTURING OUR SOUL AND OUR SOIL

When we plant we return literally to our roots: Developing appreciation of our inner cycles and those of the earth to make our lives empowered, creative and sustainable.

What We Grow explores the synergistic relationship between environmental and personal well being and looks at a move towards lifestyles that are both ecologically and psychologically healthy.

NATURE AT WORK - part 1: Joy

"Within a fertilized cell or the seed of a plant lies a pattern for the fully mature organism. Given time and proper environmental conditions, a person, tree or zebra is formed. The growth of that organism as the unraveling of its inner patterns is what I mean by the term “joy.” “Joy” in this sense implies nature proceeding along its natural cycles, for the seed is but one part of an endless series of cycles—tree, seed, sprout, tree, seed, etc."
