NURTURING OUR SOUL AND OUR SOIL

When we plant we return literally to our roots: Developing appreciation of our inner cycles and those of the earth to make our lives empowered, creative and sustainable.

What We Grow explores the synergistic relationship between environmental and personal well being and looks at a move towards lifestyles that are both ecologically and psychologically healthy.

ABOUT WHAT WE GROW

Whether we have acres of land at our disposal or only some plant pots on our kitchen windowsill, the act of planting a seed is a powerful metaphor for the process of development and change we experience within.

Whether we are concerned for the nurture of our soul or the nourishment of our soil, an awareness of the cycles of growth and die-back can make constructing our personal garden path simultaneously fascinating and fruitful.

This virtual garden - like any real garden - is always being added to and undergoing change. New shoots will appear, old growth may be chopped and put on the compost heap perhaps for recycling later. Check back often to see what’s blooming.

This garden is open to many collaborators all of whom have their own gardening styles and philosophies. Visit their different corners for a varied view of all things green and growing. And please do send us the seeds of your ideas in the comments sections so our garden can continue to grow.
